Come say Aloha to Christmas in your beautiful ugly Hawaiian garb and your tackiest swimsuit.

That’s right, we’re bringing summer back to the Birdhouse on December 14th with a Heat Wave bash.

We’ll be swimming in tropical inspired drinks, tunes, and vibes at this first ever beach inspired event. Catch the release of of our Key Lime Gose, a fresh and juicy spin on our original golden sour.

Once you’ve got that drink in hand you won’t want to miss several stellar and ridiculous contests:

7:30pm – Beautiful Ugly Hawaiian Shirt – so awful its amazing is the goal for this one. Button up, tuck it in, and own that flower powered print.

7:30pm – Tacky Swimsuit Competition – what’s lacking in good style or taste can be made up for with a stellar attitude. Find yours and flaunt it in this swimwear showdown.

8:00pm – Drunk Uncle Speeches – when your favorite bleary-eyed relative takes over the mic, anything goes. From the rambling to the ridiculous, make us all uncomfortable with your most cynical, awkward, “back in my day” speech.

Note: the Aviary will strictly enforce 18+ after 6pm to allow for the full enjoyment and absurdity of these contests. If you’d like to participate check in at the Aviary (back bar) between 6pm – 7pm!
