Join us for a fundraiser to benefit the 2018 Dragon Boat Upstate Festival.  This annual event benefits cancer research and survivorship programs at the Cancer Institute of Greenville Health System (including Institute for Translational Oncology Research, Center for Integrative Oncology and Survivorship, and Center for Cancer Prevention & Wellness)  and the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation. To date, Dragon Boat Upstate Festival has raised more than $2.5 million for local cancer research and survivorship programs.

The March 18th event is co-hosted by Apothesource, Inc., who sponsors the Apothesource Oar House Dragon Boat team and matches any donations from all fundraising initiatives. In addition, a portion of all Birds Fly South Ale Project beer sales from the event will be donated to the Oar House team.

Birds Fly South will also host their Pies & Pints: Jazz Brunch Sunday on the 18th. This means you’ll be surrounded by locally crafted, delicious sweet and savory pies and handmade fresh-filling pop-tarts from upstate baker Lattice Pies and smooth, live jazz tunes from The Claremont Trio.  Innovative, creative eats are also available next door at neighborhood favorite White Duck Taco.

You can donate directly to the Oar House team or you can enter the event raffle to win some stellar prizes while also raising valuable funds. Winning tickets will be drawn at 5:30pm, but you don’t have to be present to win.
