Coming to You Live from the Birdhouse

Tulpas is a fresh bop-it rock group based in Greenville, SC. The band is the realization of brothers JP and Joseph Kiser coming together with their cousin Scott DiBello. Along with the Kisers’ childhood friend Elijah Gossett, the group began playing together starting with DiBello’s move from Pittsburgh in early Fall of 2016. The tight synergy of the Kiser’s rhythm combined with Gossett’s characteristically flowy style of guitar playing is topped off by DiBello’s unique 80’s alt inspired vocal lines and the addition of David Melton’s dissonant jazz-pop style of keys to the band in the summer of 2017. The group’s sound comes from a large eclectic of influences including blues and early 2000’s dance pop.
